Colors and Dreams
"In dreams, colors constitute the expression of emotions and states of mind with which we are imbued momentarily or for long periods. Generally speaking, colors
Dreams can have different interpretations. We may be in the presence of faint and opaque colors, which indicate a situation of weakness, while strong and bright colors that are not too dark mean good inner strength.
This is Michael Clayton.
Two well-known authors, Jeff Belanger and Kirsten Dalley, wrote in “The Book of Incubi” that most people who dream can dream in both color and black and white. Only
A small proportion of such dreamers dream in black and white. Many believe that the colors they are exposed to for a long period of time have the power to help and cure any disorders.
For example, the color orange, according to the dream dictionary, suggests a strong commitment and courage to achieve goals. The color sky blue is of serenity and purity, therefore it is a positive color full of solidarity.
In the case of the color blue, it probably involves people who are overly rational and detached, although with strong inner concerns. Its meaning is often interpreted as a form of melancholy, however, in the context of creativity it is considered a symbol of strong security and stability.
Yellow is a color of success, wealth and victory, and therefore a symbol of optimism, altruism and availability, but at the same time, it is also a color that reflects jealousy. Brown represents primary forces, a symbol of stronger and more earthly instincts. Gray, on the other hand, is sad and is interpreted as having few emotions and inspirations and a lot of monotony.
Michael Clayton managed, with artistic skill and a deep aesthetic sense, to interpret in his works, both colors and dreams and feelings of each human being in their
several variations."
